| Beginning next year, fans will be able to watch select UFC events in 3D theaters across the country.
The organization announced Thursday that it had partnered with digital theatrical distribution company Cinedigm Digital Cinema to deliver 3D broadcasts of its pay-per-view events, starting with its annual Super Bowl Weekend card on Feb. 4, 2012. According to the release, the 3D broadcast will be available in more than 120 theaters across the country and will be the first of four of its kind next year.
"By partnering with Cinedigm, we're taking the UFC viewing experience to a whole new level," UFC President Dana White stated. "For the first time ever, fight fans can watch a UFC Pay-Per-View card in 3D at theaters across the country. We want UFC fans to have the best viewing experience possible and now they get a chance to experience major UFC Pay-Per-Views in 3D."
The UFC's first-ever 3D broadcast was UFC Live on Versus 3 in March, however, it was only available on television.

Is anybody entirely interested in this aspect at all?
Who honestly would go to a movie theatre to watch UFC in 3D, when you can sit at home and booze and snack for cheap.
I suppose it may be better than ordering a $50 - $60 PPV by yourself?

| We used to have a group that got together to watch em and we each pitched in $5, that was the best... but a "Yoko" came along.  So now I mostly watch em alone or with the woman... (she was not the "Yoko") Because aside from that group, most of my friends think Kimbo was the god of MMA.  I might go to the theater to watch one... just for the fuck of it... but IDK about 3D... ________________________________________________ "Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick. | I hate to sound sexist.... well no I don't really... but there are not too many women I enjoy watching the fights with.... they generally don't know shit.... always ask dumb questions.... and If they know more than I know ..... well yeah I feel "challenged". If they are too cute ... I miss the fights .... If they are too ugly...I just want them to shut up
but they do get beer good....

| 3D...Hell yeah!!!!. I would get the paper view in 3d at home but i wouldn't go to a theater. I love my 3D tv so much. just watched Captain America in 3D last night and it was awesome!!!! |

| man thats a horrible idea. i hate 3D anyway and now this? it would be so uncomfortable. and i have taught my girl everything about mma and the skills. (7 years) she calls out moves before most of the guys we watch the fights with. she is my proudest achievement  |
